We always pride ourselves in launching a new menu three times a year and a visitors menu that contains visiting wines, baked goods and other dishes that visit us once a month. Innovating and designing new food and drinks remain our passion, and even more so sourcing our produce and other products from Linden will always remain special to us.
Our executive chef Ofenste has taken great pride in developing our Autumn and Winter menu. His passion for simple food, clean presentation and vibrant flavours flow through every dish. We continue to source the best Norwegian salmon, our meat is still from Ross, our butcher down the road and all our eggs are free range eggs where we support a local community project. Most of our herbs are from our own small garden, and often just from a garden of a local Linden-nite down the road. Our bread is from our local down town baker and each cake is hand made by Gabbie our local pastry expert.
Ofentse cannot wait for you to try our Potato Rosti Breakfast with Crispy potato rosti, poached eggs, freshly whisked hollandaise and our warm tomato relish and watercress. Our Twisted Tangine with chorizo and chicken in a spicy tomato sauce with rainbow peppers and coriander, served with pita triangles and a dollop of Bulgarian yoghurt OR come and enjoy our hand made Fondue burger with breaded chicken breast, three cheese fondue, jalapeños and pickled pink onion and our shoe string fries.
Suzanne and our baristas have been equally hard at work – our Thai Iced Latte. A shot of espresso blended with full cream milk and ice, sweetened with thick and creamy condensed milk. Our Icy Chai is our boutique Chai blended with fresh milk and ice. We remain committed to offering Joburg a destination where we are inspired by the people of this great city and our beautiful suburb of Linden.
