We are open 7 days a week and cannot wait to see you. We also have electricity and very fast wi-fi during load shedding.
Mondays to Thursdays – 07:00 – 16:00 (Our baristas will be ready to serve take away coffees from 06:30)
Fridays – 07:00 – 17:00 (Our baristas will be ready to serve take away coffees from 06:30)
Saturdays – 07:00 – 17:00 (Our baristas will be ready to serve take away coffees from 06:30)
Sundays – 08:00 – 14:00
Before you visit us you may have some questions – we hope some of the answers below help
Do you take reservations? – Unfortunately due to the small size of our store we do not take any reservations
Can I bring my dog? Of course you may! – his/her biscuit is always on the house
Until what time do you service breakfast – Well all day!
Are you licensed? – Jip we are!
When I have a party at The Whippet can I bring my own balloons? – of course you may!
Do you have power during load shedding? – we have full power and super fast internet during load shedding
What is your operating hours? Well, we only close over December – and click on the “so when can you visit us” tab on this website or consult Google for our most up to date trading hours

Hi, a rather strange but honest and desperate plea, my beutician Lisa (from Beauty Facts up the road) suggested you could maybe assist. we have a neutered, male whippet, four years old. We also have a boer bull and naturally the two do not get on, this is becoming rather dangerous for the whippet and we are looking for a loving caring home for Jesse, do you possibly know of any one who would be interested. He is loving, loves to lie with us and has been brought up as part of the family.
Have you found a home for your whippet? Would be keen to meet him.
One concern – how is he with cats?
Attended you Love Coffee event this Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed it! I unfortunately did not manage to get a milk tartlet before they ran out so I’ll definitely be back. LOVE what you’ve done with the place!
