I wish this could be a better post with good news but after 4 months we have had no luck with the Gauteng Liquor Board in converting our hotel licence to a restaurant licence.This means we cannot open the shop for normal after work drinks on Friday. We will need to close the shop at 5pm. Once again thx for all the support, the sms’s and emails to assist us with the licence. We appreciate the awesome support.
We will keep you updated as to when we will be ready to sell ourcraft beers, cocktails, tappas and new whippet burger.

why don’t you keep it open and just not serve alcoholic drinks… after work hot chocolate and crepes for example?

Why is this??? Why not highlight the total disregard that Linden Bottlestore has for the conditions of its licence and try again – because they do not comply fully with their licence in terms of vagrants etc.
