We have decided to open the Whippet on Fridays from 16:00 – 22:00 for after work drinks. We will have some light snacks and tappas, some good wine, cocktails and some awesome live music.

Hello. I am a local Lindenite and have been watching your venue with great interest.. however, it seems you are pretty much never open and this site contain NO info about opening times, menu or any information that may help a potential client visit you…. perhaps you can think about adding some of that so we can visit you!

Firstly thanks for following our progress and thanks for the post. I will most def add this info to the site. Because we battled to find the right quality and profile chef for the area we were only able to appoint our chef 2 weeks ago – this resulting in us only opening up for day time trade in early Jan of 2013. We are however open every friday from 4pm to 10pm with a light menu, some light live music, great wine, craft beer and ice tea cocktails. We will also be hosting Love coffee events on select Wed evening of which the second one is next week Wed (you can buy tickets at http://www.quicket.co.za) – We would love to meet you and welcome you to the Whippet on any of theses nights -my biggest apologies for not being able to open up sooner.
